Qualifications
- An individual with strong convictions who aligns with White's mission statement, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required
- One to three years of experience in a related field
Role Summary This position is responsible for supervising the referral and admission process of children and youth to Josiah White's therapeutic specialized foster care and related services. The individual will maintain accurate statistics on referrals and placements. A sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs of the service population is essential. Responsibilities: Admissions
- Responsible for processing referrals and admissions of children and youth entering foster care and related services
- Communicate pertinent placement information to clinical staff for guidance
- Maintain an accurate database of referrals and placements
- Provide weekly referral activity reports to the Program Director and Vice-President of Family Services
Responsibilities: Public Relations
- Ensure quality customer service to referral sources and Josiah White's licensed foster homes through timely referral responses and professional interactions
- Organize and facilitate public relations activities, including email correspondence, mailings, phone calls, vendor displays, and personal contacts
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Foster Care Program Director
