Your role is vital to our success and our patients' wellbeing. As a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you'll collect and prepare samples and conduct laboratory procedures essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. You will ensure accurate reporting of test results while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of human body physiology, related disease processes, and testing methodologies.
  • Adhere to laboratory protocols for specimen handling, test analysis, and record maintenance.
  • Perform authorized tests based on your skills, education, and training.
  • Evaluate and report test results, ensuring accuracy in the Laboratory Information System.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting test performance or results, documenting corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical/physical/biological or life science with relevant clinical laboratory experience within the last five years.
  • OR a Bachelor's degree in laboratory medical technology with clinical rotation.
  • National Registration as an MLS(ASCP)cm, MT(ASCP), or equivalent certification, or registry-eligible at the time of hire.
  • If not certified upon hire, national certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective communication with all stakeholders.
