As a Radiology Technologist PRN, you will:

  • Provide exceptional care to patients across all age groups—pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult.
  • Exhibit competence in diagnostic radiography, including the use of digital equipment and knowledge of the PACS system.
  • Efficiently utilize RIS and Meditech for scheduling and patient tracking.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions for all job functions.
  • Quickly respond to urgent examination requests.
  • Be vigilant for image artifacts and maintain clean imaging equipment.
  • Gather patient histories and assist radiologists during procedures.
  • Notify supervisors of any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Support the institutional mission by maintaining safety standards and ethical behavior.
  • Qualifications:

    • Education: Must have a Certificate of Training in Radiologic Technology or an Associate's of Science or higher in the same field.
    • Experience: No experience required; ongoing training will be provided.
    • Licenses/Certifications: Must possess and maintain Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board, and ARRT certification within 6 months of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be acquired within the first 30 days.
