As a Radiology Technologist PRN, you will:
Provide exceptional care to patients across all age groups—pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult. Exhibit competence in diagnostic radiography, including the use of digital equipment and knowledge of the PACS system. Efficiently utilize RIS and Meditech for scheduling and patient tracking. Adhere to infection control and universal precautions for all job functions. Quickly respond to urgent examination requests. Be vigilant for image artifacts and maintain clean imaging equipment. Gather patient histories and assist radiologists during procedures. Notify supervisors of any equipment malfunctions promptly. Support the institutional mission by maintaining safety standards and ethical behavior. Qualifications:
- Education: Must have a Certificate of Training in Radiologic Technology or an Associate's of Science or higher in the same field.
- Experience: No experience required; ongoing training will be provided.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must possess and maintain Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board, and ARRT certification within 6 months of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be acquired within the first 30 days.
