Job Description :

Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager for a contract with a client in Erie, PA. The candidate will lead the execution of large-scale data warehouse programs, ensuring alignment with data accessibility, governance, and compliance goals. Rate Range: $65/hour to 68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Program Manager job responsibilities include:

  • Lead the execution of enterprise-level data warehouse programs, ensuring alignment with data accessibility, governance, and compliance strategies.
  • Oversee large-scale data migration initiatives from legacy systems (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) to cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through effective data curation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  • Manage program timelines, risks, and deliverables in an Agile environment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Communicate technical trade-offs and dependencies effectively, leveraging knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and RDS.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing large-scale data programs, including cloud data migrations.
  • Proven experience leading data warehouse initiatives involving mainframe and open system migrations to cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance in multi-customer environments.
