Position Type: Technology Date Posted: 8/4/2025 Location: Technology Department Primary Purpose: Candidate will demonstrate a passion for education and will promote a culture of curricular innovation throughout the district by facilitating professional development and growth experiences through co-teaching and empowering teachers to develop skills and plan projects that utilize innovative approaches to learning, including digital tools that empower students and foster active learning environments. Candidate will guide the use of innovative learning tools in instructional practices through membership on curriculum teams, the design and delivery of professional learning, and collaboration with campus teachers and administrators. Qualifications: Education: Completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in related field, or a bachelor's degree in a non-related field from an accredited institution combined with relevant experience, master's degree preferred
- Professional Teaching Certification
- Minimum four years of classroom teaching experience
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Knowledge of educational research technology, design, and implementation
- Demonstrated experience with various digital platforms and operating systems
- Preferred EC-12 grade experience
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Support and carry out the district's strategic plan for learning by enhancing student learning with the integration of technology tools. •
- Designing engaging learning experiences for students with classroom teachers and other staff • Identifying district support needs as a part of a team & designing professional learning opportunities to support those needs for our adult learners •
- Support classroom teachers and staff with implementation of new education technology district platforms, communication tools and resources •
- Seek out and participate in opportunities to stay current in both effective and emerging tools and be able to make recommendations to staff and campuses when approached with a need •
- Identify opportunities to share new learning, strategies to consider and resources for the classroom with staff for education technology integration • Inspire improvement of student achievement and digital literacy skills through coaching, co-teaching, collaborating with teachers, building administrators and other district personnel. •
- Create, lead, and support a district wide professional learning community/network •
- Provide input in the development of system-wide and building level programs that enables students to use technology as learning tools. •
- Investigate and disseminate information on best practices for technology integration, sources of information on trends, research and applications related to technology use on campuses. •
- Maintain current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology. •
- Provide end user support for learning and collaborative technologies, video creation, and accessible technology support • Works with vendors to resolve complex issues with learning and collaborative technologies.
