Description Acara solutions is looking for an Human Resources Administrator to work with our partner located out in Ontario, CA who specializes in Transportation manufacturing. Here is what you will get: Duration: 6 months temporary assignment Pay Rate: $28-$35/hr Here is what you will do:
- Act as a point of contact for onsite payroll matters
- Undertake the tasks of receiving calls, take messages and routing correspondence
- Handle requests and queries appropriately
- Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system
- Conduct daily data entry of payroll data into Kronos system for up to 250 employees
- Keep updated with changes to Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Coordination with Operations Leadership & Crew Management to validate employee payroll claims
Job RequirementsRequirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years related to an administrative assistant, payroll, other secretarial or data entry position
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Word and Excel
- Confirmed experience in verbal and written business correspondence in English
- Prior use of payroll systems such as Kronos a plus
- Knowledge of HR a plus, to include Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Previous experience with a railroad or other transportation industry is a plus
