Job Details- Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates: 8/18, 9/1, 9/15.
- Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 154 beds offering Orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, behavioral health, and 11 multi-specialty physician clinics.
- Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission Accredited.
Job Requirements- 2-3+ years ED experience and 1 year travel experience.
- Ability to efficiently and safely care for a team of patients regardless of acuity.
- Ability to recognize changes in patient status and know appropriate interventions.
- Required education: at least ADN.
Schedule Information- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Weekend hours: every other weekend unless working opposite weekender.
- Self scheduling using an app called When to Work.
- No call requirements.
Unit Specific Information- Unit: Emergency Department (ED).
- Number of beds: 17.
- Patient ratios: 1:4.
- EHR system: ED Paragon.
- Supervisors: Director and Manager.
- Float requirements: Not applicable.
