Magna Steyr USA is looking for talented and experienced team members in complete vehicle development who are determined and passionate about developing the next level industry standard for vehicle architectures and production solutions. In the exteriors discipline, the Senior Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering activities relating to the design and development of the vehicle exterior system. This position has a high level of responsibility and visibility and will interface with OEMs, Magna divisions, global module group teams, and Tier 2 suppliers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Technical Responsibility. Contribute to the Technical Area strategy and growth of the engineering team. Lead the product development activities specific to the given Exterior Commodity and Program. Support and contribute to knowledge base of internal and external best practices.
