Guides and facilitates faculty and staff in the development and preparation of research proposals and Pre-award requests for sponsored projects grants, contracts, sub-contracts, and cooperative agreements, including budget preparation, review and preparation of proposal application forms and Pre-award budget and information requests. Correctly apply university policies concerning proposal routing, indirect costs, cost sharing, salary allocation and ensure application of university policies on export control, subcontracts, conflict of interest, human and animal subject and all other compliance issues are followed. Correctly interpret sponsor guidelines and provide guidance to faculty and staff regarding sponsor requirements, ensuring that proposals are received by the sponsor by the deadline posted with all required forms and information.
