The primary purpose is to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the engagement programs for the long term care residents. Provides supervision and direction to the Program Assistants. Minimum Qualifications Work Experience Previous experience in a social or recreational program facilitating activities for individuals or experience in a long term care or adult day program preferred. Supervision experienced preferred. Education Bachelor s degree in Recreation or a related field or two years of experience in a social or recreational program in a health care setting within the last 5 years, one of which was full time in a therapeutic activities program or has completed a training course approved by the State of Kentucky for Activity Professionals.
