Job Description

Salary: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

The role of the Safety Supervisor is to support the core values at Joseph J. Albanese, emphasizing the protection of people, property, and the environment. The position is responsible for the safety, health, and environmental programs both inside and outside the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide EHS services for Joseph J. Albanese and support the EHS program on project sites.
• Understand government, company, and general contractor EHS requirements.
• Ensure all EHS requirements are met.
• Conduct general training to project personnel on EHS topics and hazard mitigation techniques.
• Support cross-functional EHS teams, safety committees, and special projects as needed.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Self-motivated with multi-tasking abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA construction and general industry regulations.
• Two to five years of professional safety experience in construction, with emphasis in concrete formwork, general engineering, paving, concrete placement, reinforcing steel, or public works.
• Professional certification or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
