Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $29.00/hr

STAND 8 provides end-to-end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

We are seeking skilled and reliable Mid-Level Desktop Support Technicians to assist with the deployment and support of thin clients in a virtual desktop environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in desktop and help desk support, software installation, and familiarity with VDI infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for technicians who are detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of supporting a fast-paced refresh initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Replace and deploy O3000 thin clients with iGEL OS
  • Perform software installations, patches, and updates as required
  • Support clinical and non-clinical users in a VDI environment
  • Troubleshoot device and connection issues related to virtual desktops
  • Document installation steps, user issues, and resolutions

Qualifications

  • Intermediate desktop and help desk support experience
  • Proficiency in software installation, patching, and updates
  • Familiarity with VDI environments and desktop imaging

Additional

  • Certifications: Not required but preferred
  • Background Check: To be completed by your agency
  • Onboarding: Candidates may be onboarded post screening and interview

Additional Details

The pay range for this contract position is $19-29 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered. Benefits include:
