Systems Engineer V – Airborne ISR SystemsFolsom, CA | Full-time | Hybrid | Comp to experienceActive Top Secret Clearance Required | US Citizenship OnlyWe're supporting a leading national security technology firm developing next-gen ISR platforms that combine cutting-edge digital signal processing with advanced system integration. You'll be the systems lead on high-impact airborne ISR missions — guiding architecture, requirements, and testing through to deployment.What You'll Do

• Lead architecture, integration, and technical oversight of ISR systems
• Own requirements definition, flow-down, validation, and verification
• Direct technical decisions across SW architecture, DSP, RF, and hardware design
• Oversee test plans, risk mitigation, and team coordination across the SDLC
• Act as client-facing technical lead for projects and proposals

We're Looking For

• 10+ years engineering experience (7+ in SIGINT, ISR, or signal processing systems)
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (SCI preferred)
• Strong command of the Vee model and systems engineering best practices
• Experience with SDRs, antenna theory, and wireless protocols (QAM, BPSK, etc.)
• Leadership of cross-functional teams across SW and HW domains

Bonus If You Bring

• Machine learning in embedded/edge ISR environments
• Direction-finding ISR system design
• R&D leadership with demoed or fielded tech
