Job Description :

If you are a sales and marketing leader in the process industry seeking to drive a global strategy in refining, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to grow Emerson's Measurement Solutions Group's presence in the refining industry worldwide.

In this key role, you will identify industry trends, customer challenges, and translate them into strategies to expand our refining business. You will work directly with global sales organizations to build strong customer relationships, foster cross-functional collaboration, and represent Emerson at industry forums and events.

This position can be based in Boulder, CO; Minneapolis, MN; Houston, TX; or Austin, TX. It is an on-site role and not remote.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global growth strategies with a worldwide team.
  • Influence the development of solutions, products, and services to drive growth and differentiation.
  • Build relationships with key industry stakeholders and enhance networking opportunities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for segment prospects and customers, influencing project pursuits.
  • Create content and services that support ROI decisions for customers.
  • Collaborate with leadership and product teams to ensure offerings meet industry needs.
  • You should demonstrate strong business insights, articulate a clear vision, and develop actionable strategies. Building networks and influencing stakeholders in diverse conditions is essential. Proven ability to execute and drive activities in a sophisticated organization is expected.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree with strong technical aptitude.
    • At least twelve years of experience, including four in sales or marketing.
    • Ability to travel globally up to a specified percentage.
    • Industry experience in process automation.
    • Legal authorization to work in the US; sponsorship not available.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Proven success in marketing strategy development and content creation.
    • Experience building customer relationships and influencing industry through direct engagement and participation in trade organizations and conferences.
    • Strong background interfacing with end users in the process industry.
    • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and relationship skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.

    Our compensation philosophy offers a competitive base salary aligned with local markets, with total target compensation (base + bonus) ranging from $X to $Y annually, depending on experience.
