Position Summary -

Position Specific -

  • Full time onsite position located at our plant in Shawano, WI
  • Relocation available to interested candidates

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Performance Excellence: Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives and operating plans to achieve world-class performance across safety, quality, delivery, customer service, cost efficiency, and employee/culture development. This includes coordinating communication and implementation of plans tied to gain-sharing indicators and the overall Business Plan
  • Operational Management & Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts, championing Lean techniques to enhance productivity, quality, and cost reduction. Define operational methods, develop supporting procedures, and ensure the plant maintains a clean and organized environment
  • Financial Stewardship: Develop, manage, and deliver the plant's capital and operational expense budgets, ensuring alignment with revenue and profit goals
  • Team Development & Culture Building: Foster a collaborative, accountable operations and supervision team capable of meeting current and future objectives. This includes defining operational methods, providing oversight and coaching, identifying training needs with HR, and promoting cross-training. Cultivate a culture of trust, teamwork, responsibility, continuous improvement, safety, and open communication
  • Safety & Compliance: Create a robust safety culture anchored on behavioral safety, ensuring all employees return home safely. Maintain all applicable quality system standards and procedures, and ensure adherence to Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures and requirements

Ideal Candidate -

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ten plus years of experience in Operations within a related manufacturing environment
  • Three plus years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in Operational Excellence
  • Familiarity with Production Control Systems and Resourcing Planning
