Job OverviewROLE OBJECTIVE
This position provides Project Management leadership & is responsible for end-to-end Product Development projects leading cross functional team with KPI's as Launch on Time, Budget, Cost & Quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall responsibility of managing 2-3 complex projects with successful project planning & execution to meet project charters and internal as well as customer requirements.
- Leadership: Manage & Develop team of 3-6 project managers.Excellent cross functional leadership ability that leads project managers to highperformance and Coaches and mentors other project managers.Create individual development plans for direct reports.
- Team development: Develop knowledge sharing environment and provide ongoing feedback.
- Envision the BU/ segment future & develop and implement PMO operational strategy.
- Drive diverse and inclusion workplace by identifying individual differences and their value; ability to recognize and respect the value of individual difference and diverse perspectives at all levels of the organization.
- Stakeholder management – Identifies and manages stakeholder expectations. Setting up cadence with stakeholders for smooth execution of projects.
- Cost Control: Manage the Project Capital, Expense and Resource Expenditures to stay within budget and ensure that the financial metrics are met.
- Effective project Risk management: create, monitor, and control risk management plans.
- Communications: Develop the Project Communication Plan, lead periodic Management Level Project Reviews, Report Project Progress, and Manage Stakeholder Expectations
- Developing project schedules, resource requirements and budget forecasts. Tracking and reporting on project progress and product cost
- Change Management: Perform integrated Change Management Control
- Addressing and resolving issues/impediments in project.
- Leading continuous improvement of existing processes and implementation of new project components.
- Monitoring of internal resources with appropriate function, resolving operational issues, and ensuring project implementation on time, on cost, on quality.
What your background should look likeEDUCATION & CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
- Graduate / master's in engineering with 15-18 years of experience
- 8+ years of Project Management experience in industrial product / Hardware domain
- Distributed & multi-cultural team management experience.
COMPETENCIES (TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL)
MUST HAVE
- In depth understanding of Toll Gate / Stage Gate process in Product development.
- Experience in effective project management strategies and tactics
- Experience in managing teams including performance management, rewards, and recognition.
- Experience in staffing, performance management, mentoring and coaching.
- Extensive experience in Stakeholder management, requirement management
- Exposure to manufacturing processes (Moulding, stamping, plating)
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communications skills, ability to communicate Globally at all levels internally and externally.
- Extensive experience in project planning, execution & effective risk management.
- Extensive experience in Leading teams to success, collaborate across boundaries, track results, and develop Communication and responsibility matrix.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Proficient with MS office tools (XL, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback period)
- Work along with CFT for problem solving and brainstorming.
- Certified PMP or equivalent project management certifications
PREFERABLE
- Exposure to regulatory approval process such as UL, CSA, CQC, VDE etc
- Experience in Terminal and connector industry or products
- Exposure to Agile Project Management

COMPENSATION•Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $152,000 – 189,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)•Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.•Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
