$90,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Working Schedule: Travel to job sites around Atlanta once every 2 weeks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a Senior Level Estimator to join its Atlanta team. This role will primarily support multi-family home construction projects and collaborate with teams in Atlanta, Savannah, and Charleston. The position is mostly remote, with occasional site visits and team meetings.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for multi-family residential construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and site visits as needed.
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical data for future reference.
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support bid preparation and proposal development.
• Coordinate with the Director of Preconstruction and other regional teams to ensure alignment on project goals

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-6 years of experience as an estimator on commercial or multifamily construction projects
• Full scope execution from bidding process, planning, to close out
• Some experience working in a lead or chief capacity
• Must have experience working on multi-family home projects
• Affordable housing, Student housing, Senior living, Hotels, Apartments, Condos. No Duplexes or independent townhouses, or luxury residential homes
• List of subcontractor connections and vender partners in the local market
