About The Role
This position involves on-site logistics work in the storeroom, including receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, client interface, customer service, and computer transaction entry. The focus is on servicing the client's parts and inventory needs, such as locating and delivering stock, receiving stock, issuing materials, and tracking inventory using systems. This role requires strong customer service skills as it involves regular contact with clients.
Compensation: $19.20 - $20.33
Schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety and security procedures; perform tasks safely and report unsafe conditions.
- Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers and report concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and SOPs.
- Unpack, verify, and enter received materials into the system, including creating new parts as needed.
- Issue materials, stage, and kit as required.
- Properly store received materials, perform tagging, repacking, and special handling.
- Process returns and prepare parts for return or repair.
- Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, replace barcodes, and process relocations in ERP system.
- Verify on-hand quantities and identify reorder needs.
- Keep the storeroom organized and clean.
- Support corporate initiatives and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and phone skills.
- Basic computer skills – Windows, Microsoft Office, Inventory Systems.
- Ability to learn part identification.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
