Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legislative Affairs Specialist located in Alexandria, VA. The Legislative Affairs Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and researching legislative issues, providing thorough analysis on legislation, and advising on legislative affairs. The specialist will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with legislative requirements and support the development of legislative strategies and responses.

Qualifications

• Skills in monitoring and managing Legislative Issues, Legislative Affairs, and Legislation
• Proficient in conducting Legislative Research and providing detailed analyses
• Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to synthesize complex legislative information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, or a related field
• Experience in government or military legislative processes is a plus
