This is an onsite position with relocation required to Southeastern USA.

We are partnering with a highly respected industrial machinery manufacturer on a confidential search for a Vice President of Engineering.

This senior leadership role will oversee all engineering functions, including mechanical, electrical, controls, R&D, and technical writing. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader from the capital equipment or automation space, with experience managing cross-functional engineering teams (30+ indirect reports), streamlining processes, and driving innovation.

• Executive leadership role reporting directly to the President
• Team includes 4 direct and 30+ indirect reports
• Focus on standardization, design optimization, and machine platform development
• Involvement in product innovation, customer solutions, and strategic growth

Requirements:

• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering
• 10+ years in industrial automation, capital equipment, or machine design
• Proven experience developing engineering talent and scaling team performance

Midwest-based location preferred (relocation support available)
