Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources for a 3-month temporary assignment. This role is ideal for a senior HR professional who can step in quickly, provide strategic leadership, and offer consultative insight to strengthen HR operations and structure.

A wonderful boutique law firm, with a strong presence in Manhattan.

Description

• Lead and manage all core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on HR best practices and organizational development.
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current HR processes, policies, and team structure.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and recommend scalable, sustainable solutions.
• Support change management initiatives and workforce planning.
• Mentor HR team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Act as an internal consultant to elevate and enhance HR workflows, systems, and service delivery.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement structural improvements and align HR strategy with business goals.

Profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR leader, ideally at the Director level or above.
• Strong background in HR operations, organizational development, and change management.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and improve HR processes and team structures.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus.
