Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Shipping and Receiving team in Sumner, WA . The ideal candidate will have experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to efficiently move, load, and unload materials. This position plays a key role in warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment and receipt of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load and unload trailers, move materials, and organize warehouse inventory
Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify packing slips and quantities
Prepare and stage outgoing shipments based on shipping orders and schedules
Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Use scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement
Communicate effectively with shipping team, warehouse staff, and supervisors
Requirements:
Proven experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts (certification preferred or ability to certify upon hire)
Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse operations
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer or scanner experience for inventory and shipping tasks
Dependable with good attendance and punctuality

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
