The Nursing Department on the Manhattan campus is seeking a full time Nurse Manager to join our team. Work schedule is day shift on weekdays , with availability to work on weekends every 4th week of the month. The Nurse Manager for Sub-Acute floors is responsible for assuring approved quality standards of care and compliance with established policies and procedures in the provision of resident/client care. Duties and responsibilities: Directs and supervises the delivery of nursing care within an assigned unit. Delegates the responsibility for direct resident care to the appropriate nursing staff member. Monitors care to assure care is provided as directed by the resident plan of care. Effectively communicates resident and unit needs to Nursing Administration. Utilizes a process of data collection, assessment and care planning to meet the needs of resident.
