Casual Control Board Operator - Department of Corrections - Goldendale, WA - Casual- Non-Exempt, $ 21.25/hr Open until Filled. Maintains surveillance of corrections personnel and their movement throughout the corrections facility. Keeps close watch of inmates that are outside of their assigned cells. Answers all incoming telephone calls and distributes to appropriate personnel. Has minimal contact with inmates and prisoners. Essential Job Duties Essential Job Duties:Operate the control room and electronically control the movement of persons within the jail. Coordinate and provide information and assistance to jail inmates, visitors, and jail staff. Maintain close surveillance and control of inmate activities. Monitor and direct the activities of inmate workers at the direction of Corrections Officer. Present factual information in court on observations and investigations when appropriate.
