Crew Leads  Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Crew Leads for a company based in Baton Rouge, La. In this role, you will have the opportunity to …  Being responsible for overseeing a team of workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. They delegate responsibilities, provide guidance, and maintain quality and safety standards. This role often involves training, performance feedback, and maintaining records.

Pay Rate  $16.00 - $22.00 per hour 

Schedule and Hours  Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm. 

Crew Leads Duties and Responsibilities

• Demolition work is physically demanding, requiring workers to lift heavy materials, operate machinery, and withstand harsh environmental conditions.

• Using hand or power tools, heavy machinery, and explosives to down old or unsound building structures.

• They assign tasks based on team member skills and project needs, ensuring efficient workload distribution.

• They enforce company policies, safety regulations, and quality control measures.

• Ensuring production targets are met, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety procedures.

• They ensure the team complies with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Crew Leads Qualifications and Requirements

• No smoking on property

• Drug & alcohol-free workers only

• Positive, professional attitudes are essential

• Must bring lunch daily – leaving the job site is not permitted

Dress Code & Equipment

All crew members must come properly dressed and equipped:

• Long sleeve shirts (gray or navy blue only – no graphics)

• Long work pants (no holes or distressing)

• Steel toe work boots

• Safety helmet

• Safety glasses

• Safety gloves

• Dust mask

• Box Knife

• Hammer

Pre-Employment Requirements

All workers must be able to complete the following prior to placement:

• I-9 Employment Verification

• 10-Panel Drug Screening

• Background Check

• Lift Test

• Safety Assessment

Additional Preferences:

• OSHA 10 Certification (PLUS)

• Bilingual (PLUS)

Job Type  Full-time, temporary
