The Dispatcher will utilize our fleet management software and other operating applications to monitor volumes at each Transfer Station and progress of each Driver. The Lead Dispatcher will notify Drivers of their scheduled routes, and make real-time routing change as needed. The Lead Dispatcher must keep an open line of communication with each Transfer Station Manager as well as the Rail Fleet Manager. The Lead Dispatcher is also responsible for promoting and monitoring employee safety and take proactive steps to identify, evaluate and remove safety hazards. This is a new role, and the successful candidate must have experience managing both themselves and others. The Lead Dispatcher is a self-directed role, and will be responsible for establishing and documenting procedures for live dispatching.
