Lead Product Support Structural Engineer

This position is responsible for applying structural engineering principles to support sustaining activities of aerospace products. The individual will lead the review and approval of Engineering Change Notices (EC - Ns) in support of the Change Control Board (CCB) and Non-Conformances (N - Cs) in support of Material Review Board (MRB). Critical skills include mechanical engineering design, hand calculations for stress/structural analysis, and the determination and identification of specific higher fidelity analysis needs, and execution of the higher fidelity analyses. This person will disposition the EC - Ns and N - Cs from a structural perspective have full signoff authority in this role. A focus on airworthiness, manufacturability, and cost considerations should be taken into account when reviewing the proposed revisions to engineering documentation (drawings, test plans, process specifications, etc.).
