To collect, maintain and make available to authorized user, timely, accurate and complete patient health information. Prioritizes, locates, electronically tracks and sees to the appropriate transport of records requested in accordance with established standards. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties: Know the Epic system; Siemen s imaging system; Dolbey transcription system; and Image Now scanning system. Understands the terminal digit filing system and clerical office systems. Utilizes Review Station for receiving and sending of images to and from other hospitals. Utilizes computer information system (EPIC, PACS) in the department, with a multiple interfaces to various computer systems hospital wide, to obtain information which may directly or indirectly pertain to completing a customer request for information.
