The Controlled Substance Compliance Pharmacy Specialist performs activities that support daily operations of the drug diversion prevention, detection, and response program. This individual works as part of a team to ensure continuous compliance and effective controls against drug diversion. Through comprehensive audits, medication reconciliation, education, regular inspections and inventory accountability, the diversion specialist will facilitate diversion/theft prevention and reduction programs. The Compliance Specialist supports all aspects of drug diversion education, prevention, monitoring, investigating and reporting at the following at all sites system wide where controlled substances are used. Job Qualifications/ Specifications Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. MBA or equivalent Masters Degree preferred.
