Apply accounting principles and practices following standardized, well-established procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Institute safeguards to ensure the integrity and maintenance of the accounting system. Assist with the preparation of financial-related materials for audits. Assist in month-end closing procedures. Input financial-related data into computer systems and maintain financial reports and records related to programs. Maintain an unpaid invoice file; input invoices and other delinquent data into the accounts payable module after invoices/data have been reviewed for accuracy and coded to proper accounts and departments within the program. Maintain and oversee maintenance of financial documents (check vouchers, payroll, etc.). Always maintain strict confidentiality. Record and post expenses into the computer system. Provide coverage for the Accounts Receivable Clerks.
