: Job Details :

Transport mail between the Company and the United States Post Office, making bulk delivery and pick-up between trips to and from the mailroom and the receiving and shipping docks. Inspects incoming mail at the pick-up point and at the plant for suspicious materials, taking prescribed precautionary measures. Receives, inspects, sorts, and delivers incoming, outgoing, and inter-office mail of various size and weights. May include registered, certified, and insured mail. Packages domestic, international, and military mail in accordance with Company, Government and Security regulations, using most economical and proper mailing methods consistent with requested delivery requirements. Will ship materials in the proper method and in accordance with Company, Government and Security regulations. May be required to operate a bicycle, scooter, automobile and/or other vehicles in the performance of duties outlined above. Maintains records as applicable. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
