An outpatient clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located 1 hour north of Roanoke, Virginia.This 3-month PA assignment is four days per week, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with no call required. The facility uses Meditech EMR and sees 1618 adult patients per day. The role requires an active VA license, DEA, and BLS certification. The support team includes APPs, MDs, and MAs. Credentialing takes about 1.5 months, and a provider must be confirmed by mid-September. New grads will not be considered, but the patient panel is relatively straightforward, as the outgoing provider is early in their career.
