Join Our Team as a CNC Machine Operator for Flexible Off Shift Hours!

Overview: We are seeking dedicated CNC Operators to work on our second or third shifts. As an integral part of our production team, you will be responsible for processing various products across multiple CNC equipment and cells.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate a diverse range of numerically controlled machines and cells for both rough and finish operations.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including copper, aluminum, steel, graphite, and other ferrous or non-ferrous metals and alloys.
  • Interpret programs and operational data, following set-up instructions.
  • Perform manual deburring operations using hand sanding, belt sanding, or operating single drill presses and cleaning equipment for secondary operations.
  • Utilize hand tools as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in training new team members as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the team and production goals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or three to five years of relevant experience or training; equivalent education or experience will be considered.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference.
  • Familiarity with computer operation and related software is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms.
  • Forklift certification is required (OSHA compliance).

Physical Requirements: The essential duties of this role may require regularly lifting or moving up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs using jib cranes or other devices. Must be able to stand, reach, use hands, and perform various physical tasks as needed.

Work Environment: You will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. Ear protection may be necessary due to moderate noise levels, and safety equipment must be used at all times.

Additional Responsibilities: Monitor for discrepancies or defects in materials, complete data transactions as required, and ensure a clean work area. A solid understanding of job-related quality management procedures is essential.

We offer a competitive pay rate of $26.12 - $28.39 per hour, as well as two weeks of paid vacation after six months, 11 paid holidays (including one personal choice), and personal paid time off.
