The position involves supporting research focused on different types of high-risk child and adolescent media use (e.g. engagement with suicide or drug-related online content) in Dr Meredith Gansers research team. The RA will assist the PI in drafting new study IRB protocol submissions, recruiting adolescent subjects for both longitudinal ecological momentary assessment and cross-sectional survey studies, and surveying and administering psychological assessments to study participants. In addition to recruitment and data collection, the applicant will be expected to help with data entry, data processing and basic data analyses of both new project data, as well as existing data from the PIs NIDA-funded project on youth exposure to drug and alcohol-related online content. Lastly, the RA will perform literature reviews to support new grant submissions and help with editing and formatting grants and paper manuscripts.
