Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM - Location: Neuroscience Center. Position Summary:The Registration Specialist plays a key role in facilitating patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This position is responsible for collecting and verifying financial and demographic information, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities:Greet and direct patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Schedule appointments and interview patients to obtain necessary medical and insurance information. Explain departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and charges. Validate and enter charges into appropriate systems and collect necessary payments. Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately. Ensure accurate and complete patient records to support clinical outcomes and reimbursement.
