Information Position Summary The assistant director of transfer admissions works in a highly collaborative manner with the supervisor of the position in determining workflow and prioritizing projects regarding the overall operation of the transfer recruitment area in the office of undergraduate admissions. Examples of work assigned to this position include: Review transfer applications, make admissions decisions based on credentials, and review for scholarship potential Evaluate transcripts of admitted transfer students to determine course equivalencies and potential credit exemptions Perform admissions counseling with prospective transfer students and families Attend college day/night programs, regional/national college fairs for transfer student recruitment Visit community colleges and attend meetings and other events for transfer student recruitment Serve as team lead for campus visit strategies and the coordination of special recruitment events/bus trips Serve as liaison for denied...Director, Admissions, Assistant, University
