Supervises the day-to-day operations of the laboratory. Assists in selecting, training, evaluation and motivation of team members. Models the Stormont Vail Tenets of compassion, connection, patient safety and privacy, and improving the health of our community. Ensures high quality patient testing by directing the use of equipment and materials according to established policies, procedures, and laboratory standards. Education Qualifications. Bachelor's Degree Medical (Clinical) Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. Preferred. Experience Qualifications 2 years Laboratory experience. Required. Supervisory experience. Preferred. Skills and Abilities. Follows all applicable OSHA guidelines. Follows all hospital and departmental safety procedures.
