What You Will Do
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs to provide supportive care before, during and after procedures.
  • Initiate IVs for patient sedation prior to the procedures.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physicians orders.
  • Participate in patient education pre and post procedure.
  • Provide patient education and instruction.
What You Bring
  • Registered nurse active license. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification required.
  • Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.
  • Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact
