Our client, a leader in the renewable energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Prevailing Wages Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Prevailing Wages Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the Payroll and Compliance Department supporting project and contractor teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail , strong communication skills , and a proactive approach to compliance , which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Prevailing Wages Payroll Specialist
Location: FL, Oviedo
Pay Range: Based on experience
What's the Job?
Ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon Act and prevailing wage regulations on federally funded projects
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports accurately and on time
Maintain detailed payroll records and support audit processes
Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure understanding of wage requirements
Stay current on regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly
What's Needed?
Associate degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or payroll
Minimum 2+ years of experience in prevailing wage payroll and certified payroll reporting
Strong knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and related regulations
Proficiency in payroll systems and Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables required)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
