Job Description The Quality Engineer (aerospace) will:
  • Maintain and enhance quality assurance processes in alignment with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Lead and verify First Article Inspections (FAI), ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Investigate product quality issues, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and initiate continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist with internal quality audits and support external customer and regulatory inspections.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to uphold and improve their quality performance.
  • Manage quality documentation related to production part approvals, process validations, and change controls.

The Successful Applicant The successful Quality Engineer (aerospace) candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of Quality experience.
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and processes such as FAI, PPAP, and CAPAs.
  • Skilled in quality data analysis tools and methodologies, comfortable using software like Minitab or Excel.
  • Experience with AS9100 standards.
  • Experience in supplier quality management is highly desirable.
