Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Field Operations Supervisor with expertise in yard and transportation operations, who enjoys leading a team. This role is essential in supervising operational functions and managing drivers to ensure efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all yard activities while supervising Technicians.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Coordinator and Routers to optimize routes and manage pick-ups and deliveries efficiently.
  • Analyze operational metrics, including routing efficiency, weekly performance, labor, and customer care quality, and report findings.
  • Facilitate excellent communication across departments to effectively address customer service and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with other Operations Supervisors for asset transfers as needed.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet and exceed customer and branch expectations.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in logistics for special events and participate in these events as needed.
  • Review all driver paperwork for completion and accuracy, including manifests and route sheets.
  • Approve Time Saver punches for payroll processing and manage time-off requests in line with operational needs.
  • Administer fleet DOT compliance, including log books and record maintenance.
  • Lead the Company's safety program for drivers and coordinate necessary safety training with HR.
  • Develop and mentor team members by conducting performance reviews.
  • Operate a variety of company vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position includes supervisory responsibilities, guiding and managing staff effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Strong customer service and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Driver License.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit while driving and stand during product servicing.
  • Capable of using hands for various tasks.
  • Perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to discern details at varying distances.
  • Communicate clearly for effective customer interaction.
  • Understand and interpret conversations.
  • Recognize different sounds.
  • Walk for extended periods and engage in physical lifting.
  • Ability to enter and exit equipment easily.
  • Safely lift up to 40 lbs and perform necessary physical tasks.
  • Focus visually on varying distances and tasks.

Salary Range: $60,400.00 - $87,600.00 per year. Note that individual pay may vary and is influenced by location, skills, experience, and education.
