Trillium has an immediate opening for a skilled Electrical Engineer in Charlotte! This Direct-Hire position seeks a motivated professional with an ownership mindset to lead electrical design projects independently. The Electrical Engineer will design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, and multifamily developments, oversee Electrical Designers, manage project coordination, conduct critical calculations, prepare sealed drawings, and ensure compliance with relevant codes. Key Responsibilities: -Develop electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and building support systems. -Lead and review the work of Electrical Designers on project teams. -Collaborate with clients, contractors, code officials, utility companies, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements. -Prepare and seal engineering drawings in accordance with licensing regulations. -Perform calculations including photometrics, voltage drop, fault current, and power system design. -Carry out energy code compliance evaluations and fire alarm system design Work Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 1st shift. Annual salary is $90,000 - $124,000 per year, based on experience. Apply now! Required Qualifications: -At least 5 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, or multifamily projects. -Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program. -Professional Engineering (PE) license with eligibility to practice in multiple states. -Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 72, and applicable building and energy codes. -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with SKM, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP is advantageous. -Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in teams.
