The Field Operations Supervisor will play a key role in our yard and transportation operations, leading a team of technicians to achieve outstanding results. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy coordinating efforts to boost efficiency, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all activities in the yard, ensuring smooth operations by supervising Technicians.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Coordinator & Routers to optimize routes and enhance pick-up and delivery efficiency.
  • Analyze operational activities, focusing on routing efficiency, weekly pick-ups vs. deliveries, labor and overtime management, fuel usage, and customer care quality.
  • Facilitate clear communication among various departments to swiftly resolve customer service and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with Operations Supervisors across different yards to manage asset transfers effectively.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to meet customer and branch demands.
  • Assist in the logistics of special events including delivery, pick-up, and servicing of assets.
  • Review driver paperwork meticulously for accuracy and completeness.
  • Approve Time Saver punches and manage time-off requests based on operational needs.
  • Maintain compliance with fleet DOT regulations and company safety program, coordinating necessary training with Safety & HR.
  • Support employee development through performance reviews and coaching.
  • Operate various company vehicles and occasionally perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a related field with proven leadership experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and team-building expertise.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40lbs, crouching, squatting, and pushing or pulling 100lbs horizontally.
  • Good hearing and speech to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
