Position: Manufacturing Operations PlannerLocation: Amarillo,TXAbout the Role:As a Manufacturing Operations Planner, you will be an essential link between engineering and production. You'll transform released engineering data into detailed work instructions, determine tooling requirements, and ensure seamless implementation of changes across both current and future aircraft products. Your contributions will directly impact the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of our manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Engineering Change Management: Incorporate engineering changes using Bell systems, policies, and procedures Coordinate updates with the Change Group and Manufacturing stakeholders Tooling & CAD Analysis: Use Bell CAD systems to identify tooling needs Participate in the design and evaluation of tools to support aircraft assemblies Production Support: Deliver timely support to factory floor teams Implement accurate updates to released production orders to avoid delays Bill of Materials (BOM) Reconciliation: Reconcile Engineering BOM with Manufacturing BOM Ensure consumption accuracy and address discrepancies effectively Process Optimization: Collaborate with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to establish efficient, repeatable build sequences Understand and support assembly processes and tool index requirements Liaison Duties: Act as a responsive liaison to the factory floor for real-time problem solving Address routine redline support issues, root cause analysis, and process/tooling improvementsQualifications & Skills Required: 3-5 years of experience in Production or Manufacturing Planning Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline) highly preferred Skilled in using Bell ERP systems, with strong preference for: 3DX (Dassault Systemes) PEO (SAP) SAP Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Digital Product Definitions (CAD, GD&T) Deep understanding of: Manufacturing processes Tooling methodologies Aircraft assembly procedures MRB (Material Review Board) experience is a plus
