Previous experience in an acute care setting and Modified Barium Swallow evaluation preferredCurrent GA License to practiceJobs Notes:Day Shift, This position will mainly treat inpatient and swing bed patients at Reedley but will also need to be available to travel to Selma for inpatient evaluations and treatment and on occasion travel to Hanford and Tulare hospitals for treatment and evaluations. The position will be M-F 8 hour days and will perform bedside swallow evaluations and treatments with an emphasis on placing patients on a safe diet and then progressing the patient's diet. The position will also perform speech/language evaluation and treatment.Job Summary:Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines.
