The Hazmat Associate will perform Shipping, Receiving, Picking, Recycling and Cycle counting duties. Handle Essential functions listed below. The Hazmat Associate will will work as part of a cross functional team to ensure conformance to Service Quality and Reliability. Areas of Responsibility:RECEIVING AREA:Receiving incoming freight from a variety of freight carriers, confirming the number of Packages received, their condition and signing for them. Checking the contents of the packages against the supplier packing list. Notifying the proper person when hot orders are received. Receiving data entry into Visual Manufacturing Reports all shortages to applicable departments. Marking properly and placing incoming stock in the Carousel or on the shelves, in its proper location, rotating inventory, so that the oldest inventory is picked first (FIFO). Processing customer RMA, Contact Service Department , Examines all incoming shipments, rejects damaged items for any damage.
