Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients disaster-related needs and create individualized recovery plans. Assist clients in navigating and applying for FEMAs Individuals and Households Program (IHP) and Direct Housing Program, ensuring they understand the process and meet eligibility requirements. Provide social work services by addressing emotional, financial, and practical needs and connecting clients with appropriate community resources and support systems. Answer phone calls, provide guidance, and direct clients to suitable assistance programs. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations, to facilitate resource access and service delivery. Maintain accurate and confidential case files and documentation in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
