Job Description :
The client is a well-established industry leader in motor control and electrical systems assessment technology, with a strong reputation for technical excellence and customer support. Their facility delivers nationwide training and technical services, offering innovative solutions in electric motor diagnostics, repair, and rewinding. Committed to quality and continuous improvement, the client fosters a collaborative work environment where learning and technical innovation are central. Veterans will appreciate a culture that values discipline, clear communication, and hands-on experience. As a Training and Technical Support Representative, you'll divide your time between classroom instruction and direct technical support. You'll guide customers through motor operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting-both remotely and on-site. A typical day might include leading a training seminar in the morning, providing technical support via calls in the afternoon, and traveling to a customer site as needed. In addition, you'll manage training documentation, provide product improvement feedback, and maintain detailed customer support records. The role offers variety without excessive travel. Most weeks alternate between one week of travel and one week at home, with emergency travel being rare and training events typically planned several months in advance. International travel can be a bit longer, especially when located in more remote parts of countries to reach. While travel encompasses U.S. and international destinations, new hires primarily support domestic efforts during their initial training period. Strong communication skills are critical, especially for those without formal instructor-led training experience-your ability to engage and educate customers will be key to success. This is an excellent opportunity for military veterans with experience in electrical systems, field service, or technical instruction. Backgrounds such as Navy Nuclear, Electrician's Mate (EM), Army 91D (Power-Generation Equipment Repairer), or Air Force 2A6X1 (Aerospace Propulsion) translate well to the technical requirements of this role. Located near Tampa, Florida, the position offers a vibrant, veteran-friendly community, with affordable living, no state income tax, and easy access to beaches, outdoor recreation, and a thriving job market-making it an ideal place to launch your next career.
