Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to lead and manage the training program within the Technical Operations Support group. This role is essential to ensuring our teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to maintain compliance and operational excellence in a GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about workforce development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Ownership: Take full ownership of the Technical Operations Support training program, including design, implementation, scheduling, and continuous improvement.
  • Training Coordination: Organize and track training activities for new hires, ongoing employee development, and compliance requirements.
  • Wake Tech Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison with Wake Technical Community College to coordinate and schedule external training sessions for technical teams.
  • Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate and audit-ready training records in accordance with GMP and internal standards.
  • LMS Administration: Manage training assignments, tracking, and reporting through ComplianceWire, the company's Learning Management System.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and update training materials, SOPs, and job aids.
  • Audit Support: Ensure training documentation is inspection-ready and support internal and external audits.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Generate and analyze training metrics to monitor program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with managers, team leads, and HR to align training initiatives with business goals and employee development plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, preferably in a technical, manufacturing, or regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other regulatory training requirements.
  • Experience with ComplianceWire or similar LMS platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences company.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles or adult learning theory.
  • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD, etc.
