About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of goods across international and domestic channels, ensuring shipments are accurate, on-time, and cost-effective. This role collaborates closely with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and logistics partners to support seamless execution. You'll also play a key role in export documentation, compliance, and freight cost analysis. What You'll Do:
- Track shipments from departure to delivery, ensuring systems reflect accurate status and ETAs
- Serve as the main contact for resolving logistics issues with cross-functional partners
- Reconcile discrepancies in shipping data and flag delays early
- Ensure accurate, timely filing of export documentation
- Coordinate clearance with customs brokers and freight forwarders
- Partner with internal teams to plan and execute efficient shipments
- Maintain and analyze freight cost data and reporting
- Approve freight and parcel invoices for accuracy
- Support specialized shipping documentation or customer-specific needs
- Coordinate shipping instructions and manage work orders with vendors
- Provide regular reporting on shipment status, yard activity, and drayage
- Collaborate with IT or analytics teams to enhance tracking and visibility tools
- Assist with exceptions handling, rework, labeling, or inspections
- Maintain dashboards and support logistics reporting needs
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years in logistics, shipping, or freight coordination
- Experience with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of export documentation and international compliance a plus
